Laure’s journey
Laure Hatchuel-Becker expose depuis plus de 25 ans à l’international. Elle réside et travaille à Monaco. Artiste de Monaco, fille d’artiste, elle fut très jeune initiée à la peinture dans les ateliers de sa mère, Nita Ker. Elle choisit l’huile comme média de prédilection et passionnée par les peintures des artistes aborigènes auprès de qui elle a travaillé en Australie, elle met au point une technique inédite de «Pics de couleur» qui donne à ces oeuvres un effet «3D»
C’est en Australie, dans la contemplation de cette nature sauvage auprès d’artistes aborigènes, qu’elle ancrera sa démarche artistique dans cette quête incessante de reconnecter émotionnellement l’homme à la nature et à sa nature animale profonde.
Laure Hatchuel-Becker is a painter who lives and works in Monaco. Recognized as an international artist, Laure has been exhibiting her works internationally for more than 25 years. Daughter of an artist, Laure was introduced to painting at a very young age through workshops with her mother. She chose oil painting as her preferred medium and developed a deep interest and passion for indegenous art following an opportunity to work with aboriginal artists in Australia. It was in Australia, while contemplating the unspoilt nature alongside Indigenous Australian artists, that she would anchor her artistic approach in this constant quest to emotionally reconnect people with the natural world and their deep animal nature.
Le PIC
Peaks of colour
L’artiste place la contemplation au centre de son art, elle permettrait selon elle de considérer un sujet et de s’absorber en lui. C’est en cherchant artistiquement à favoriser cette contemplation que LHB invente le PIC, cette extension 3D de peinture à l’huile qui caractéristique depuis près de 25 ans toute son œuvre.
Le PIC est l’élément permettant cette reconnexion émotionnelle de l’homme à la nature et à sa nature animale profonde. Ces «Pics de couleur» posés un à un sur la toile, donnent toute la dimension du temps et de la précision nécessaire à la réalisation de chaque oeuvre. Laure réalise à la main environ 30 000 PICS par mètre carré de toile.
The artist places contemplation at the centre of her art because, in her opinion, it allows her to consider a subject and become absorbed in it. It was while investigating how to give this contemplation priority in her art that LHB invented the peak, a 3D extension of oil painting that has been characteristic of all her work for almost 25 years.
The peak is the element that allows this emotional reconnection of humanity with the natural world and its deep animal nature. It was through this experience with aboriginal artists that inspired Laure to develop a new technique she named «peaks of colour», that gave her work a «3D» effect. Laure creates about 30,000 peaks of colour for every square metre of canvas.

The peak also questions the spectator regarding his/her identity and individuality.
Am I one if there are multitudes in me?

LHB a exposé en Europe, en Asie, aux US et en Australie.
Elle a été choisi pour exposer ses oeuvres lors du BEFF 2025 (Blue Economique and Finance Forum au Grimaldi Forum à Monaco).
Elle fut selectionnée par le Gouvernement Princier de Monaco pour exposer dans le Pavillon de Monaco à l’Exposition Universelle de Dubai, Expo Dubai 2020.
Elle soutient les actions de la Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco dont elle partage l’engagement en faveur de la préservation des espèces menacées et de la biodiversité.
Le travail de Laure a été retenu pour une vente Artcurial.
LHB has exhibited in Europe, Asia, the US and in Australia.
She was chosen by the Principality of Monaco’s government to exhibit her work in the Monaco Pavilion at the Expo Dubai 2020 World Exhibition in Dubai.
LHB supports the actions of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and is committed to the conservation of endangered species and biodiversity.
Laure’s work has been selected for an Artcurial sale.
